The MOS system: how it works
The role of the MOS portal in legalization cases and what to prepare before working on an application.
MOS (Moduł Obsługi Spraw) is the state online platform for handling cases, including residence legalization. It lets you create an account, complete an application and track your case.
MOS streamlines the process but does not replace the required in-person steps or the office — it is a tool you use yourself.
What MOS enables
Creating an account and completing the application electronically.
Attaching data and files, and tracking case status more conveniently.
The client’s role
You log in to the system, sign and confirm the submission where the procedure requires it.
Our role is to prepare the set, verify the data and run the case — we do not act in your place where the law requires your personal action.
Frequently asked questions
- Does MOS replace a visit to the office?
- Not entirely. Some steps — e.g. fingerprinting or presenting originals — are done in person.
- Do I need my own account?
- Yes — where the procedure requires your login and signature, you do it yourself.
Preliminary qualification is not an administrative decision. The client logs in to the state system, signs and submits the application themselves where the procedure requires it.
